Soft Landing’ is a collection of domestic objects made from rubber granules—materials typically associated with playgrounds, athletic tracks, and impact absorption. Exploring protection as a design principle, Each piece balances fragility and resilience: Cushioning delicate materials such as glass, or cradling something delicate as fragile as an egg.

Through compression and bonding the granules form dense yet yielding structures that retain traces of their making. ‘Soft Landing’ reframes an industrial material as domestic infrastructure, designed to absorb impact and offer a soft landing for life’s clumsier moments.
